  Your palapas is going to be $17-$19 a square foot. Always good to know. It's not cheap, but neither is the workmanship. I had a 16 foot by18 foot built. I'm 700 feet from Galveston bay so it had to be built to code with hurricane straps and steel feet at the four corners. They just finished, and it is solid as a rock and looks beautiful. The timing was longer than discussed due to pulling permits and getting the inspection. Initially we discussed a week and a half. It ended up being 3 weeks. Despite that it is a beautiful piece of work. I doubt there is a better built palapas anywhere in the US. These guys know what they are doing. They lack polish in the marketing and customer relations, but do not let that put you off. They sell a really good product.
